Main responsibilities:

  • Developing Payroll Operate services by combining strong technical payroll expertise with practical commercial, legislative and industry knowledge
  • Expanding the payroll client portfolio and generating new business opportunities
  • Supporting Partners and senior stakeholders in sales and business development activities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with international clients and acting as a central point of contact
  • Developing client networks through marketing and business development initiatives
  • Managing contractual agreements and monitoring their implementation
  • Ensuring that engagements are commercially viable and aligned with agreed fees, estimates and profitability targets
  • Leading, motivating and supporting colleagues and cross-functional teams in business development activities
  • Keeping up to date with changes in the Hungarian payroll, social security, personal income tax and labour law landscape
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant Tax Quality guidelines and professional standards
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality and accurate service delivery

Required skills:

  • Specialized payroll qualification (OKJ or equivalent payroll qualification)
  •  8–10 years of Hungarian payroll experience gained specifically within a payroll service provider or BPO environment 
  • User-level knowledge of NEXON or a similar payroll system
  •  Experience with social security payer (TB kifizetőhely) administration 
  • Good/fluent English communication skills, with confidence in an international client-facing environment
  • Strong people management and leadership experience
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian social security, personal income tax and labour law regulations
  • Strong client management and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial mindset and an interest in business development and sales
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage changing workloads in a dynamic environment
  • Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to work in a multinational organization
  • Commitment to continuous professional and personal development
