Main responsibilities:
- Developing Payroll Operate services by combining strong technical payroll expertise with practical commercial, legislative and industry knowledge
- Expanding the payroll client portfolio and generating new business opportunities
- Supporting Partners and senior stakeholders in sales and business development activities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with international clients and acting as a central point of contact
- Developing client networks through marketing and business development initiatives
- Managing contractual agreements and monitoring their implementation
- Ensuring that engagements are commercially viable and aligned with agreed fees, estimates and profitability targets
- Leading, motivating and supporting colleagues and cross-functional teams in business development activities
- Keeping up to date with changes in the Hungarian payroll, social security, personal income tax and labour law landscape
- Ensuring compliance with relevant Tax Quality guidelines and professional standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality and accurate service delivery
Required skills:
- Specialized payroll qualification (OKJ or equivalent payroll qualification)
- 8–10 years of Hungarian payroll experience gained specifically within a payroll service provider or BPO environment
- User-level knowledge of NEXON or a similar payroll system
- Experience with social security payer (TB kifizetőhely) administration
- Good/fluent English communication skills, with confidence in an international client-facing environment
- Strong people management and leadership experience
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian social security, personal income tax and labour law regulations
- Strong client management and relationship-building skills
- Commercial mindset and an interest in business development and sales
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage changing workloads in a dynamic environment
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to work in a multinational organization
