Main responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the capacity of international telecommunications networks
- Analyse complex network data and forecasts to identify future capacity requirements
- Develop detailed capacity solutions and provide them to network delivery teams
- Prepare and maintain platform-specific capacity plans in line with forecast demand
- Monitor network capacity and identify, escalate and resolve capacity-related issues
- Work closely with Network Planners, Technical Delivery Managers and other key stakeholders
- Implement and maintain network planning rules at device and network level
- Analyse customer and bid requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions
- Review network designs and support the introduction of new technologies and network capabilities
- Support smaller network projects and contribute to technical decisions, escalations and resolution of planning issues
Required skills:
- Previous experience in international telecommunications network planning
- Strong technical knowledge of SDH, Ethernet, OTN and DWDM technologies and configurations
- Solid understanding of international telecom services and industry standards
- Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
- Fluent English
