Our partner is a global technology and telecommunications company with a long-standing history in the communications industry. The company operates large-scale network and digital infrastructure supporting businesses and critical services around the world.
Main responsibilities:
- Plan and design IP-based LAN/WAN networks and data center infrastructure.
- Create Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for complex network and customer connectivity solutions.
- Perform capacity planning for data center and Data Communication Network infrastructure.
- Configure and commission Cisco-based routers, switches and other network infrastructure.
- Design and implement customer connectivity across different network platforms and services.
- Plan, coordinate and execute customer and network migrations.
- Implement network security policies and support firewall-related infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation of network infrastructure and customer connections.
- Coordinate the handover of newly implemented solutions to Operations and other technical teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on network design, capacity, infrastructure and project requirements.
Required skills:
- University degree in Telecommunications, Networking, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Several years of experience in network engineering, network design, planning or infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.
- Solid understanding of IP/VPN networking and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF or IS-IS.
- Experience with network security and firewalls, ideally Cisco and/or FortiGate.
- Experience preparing technical design and infrastructure documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to work.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
