Main responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial and financial strategy for high-value, complex global bids, ensuring profitable and competitive outcomes
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight and managing financial and commercial risk
- Develop pricing strategies, financial models, and business cases
- Support and lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, financial terms, and contractual conditions
- Drive commercial governance, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement across the bid lifecycle
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Bid Management teams to deliver consistent, high-quality bid responses
- Lead, coach, and develop the Budapest-based Commercial Finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
Required skills:
- Experience leading the commercial and financial aspects of high-value, complex bids within a large, multinational, matrix organisation
- Strong expertise in commercial pricing, financial modelling, profitability analysis, and commercial negotiations
- Proven ability to assess and manage commercial and financial risk while supporting strategic business growth
- Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and financial terms with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong leadership experience
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership level
