
Our partner, a well-known consulting and advisory firm, is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their energetic payroll team. This is a great opportunity to take charge of complex payroll operations and work with international clients across a variety of industries.
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee end-to-end payroll processes for international and local clients
- Prepare payroll-related calculations, reports, analytics, and statistical summaries
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reporting and tax/social security returns
- Manage year-end closing and year-opening payroll activities
- Ensure compliance with Hungarian payroll, labour law, tax, and social security regulations
- Maintain regular communication with international stakeholders and clients
- Provide accurate and client-focused payroll support and consultancy
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth payroll operations and service quality
Required skills:
- Certified Payroll and Social Security Administrator qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Hungarian end-to-end payroll
- Strong user-level knowledge of NEXON payroll system
- Up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian labour law, taxation, and social security regulations
- Fluent English
- Good command of MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work independently
- Client-focused mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills
