Our partner, a well-known consulting and advisory firm, is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their energetic payroll team. This is a great opportunity to take charge of complex payroll operations and work with international clients across a variety of industries. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee end-to-end payroll processes for international and local clients
  • Prepare payroll-related calculations, reports, analytics, and statistical summaries
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reporting and tax/social security returns
  • Manage year-end closing and year-opening payroll activities
  • Ensure compliance with Hungarian payroll, labour law, tax, and social security regulations
  • Maintain regular communication with international stakeholders and clients
  • Provide accurate and client-focused payroll support and consultancy
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth payroll operations and service quality 

Required skills:

  • Certified Payroll and Social Security Administrator qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Hungarian end-to-end payroll
  • Strong user-level knowledge of NEXON payroll system
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian labour law, taxation, and social security regulations
  • Fluent English
  • Good command of MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work independently
  • Client-focused mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills
