
Our Partner is a fast-growing international chemical manufacturing company looking for an experienced Commercial Director to lead and further develop its international commercial activities.
This strategic leadership role combines sales and marketing responsibilities, with a strong focus on long-term relationship management, international distributor coordination, and business development across multiple global markets. The ideal candidate brings a true farmer sales mindset, excels in maintaining high-level partnerships, and is confident operating in an international industrial environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Leading and supporting the Hungarian commercial team
- Managing and coordinating external sales contractors primarily in the UK and the USA
- Supporting and coordinating international distributor networks across Scandinavia, Italy, and Australia
- Building and maintaining high-level relationships with international distribution partners and key accounts
- Developing long-term strategic partnerships with existing clients
- Overseeing both commercial and marketing activities to strengthen market presence and brand visibility
- Monitoring international market trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities
- Representing the company at international exhibitions, conferences, and industry events
- Working closely with senior management and international stakeholders on strategic initiatives
Required skills:
- Several years of commercial/sales leadership experience in an international environment
- Strong farmer sales attitude with outstanding relationship management capabilities
- Previous experience in the chemical industry, industrial manufacturing, or B2B production environment is an advantage
- Experience in managing international distributor and partner networks
- Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Near-native English language skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
