We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join an international company in Bratislava, operating in a dynamic, fast-evolving industry. In this role, you will support end-to-end accounting processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, while enjoying close cooperation with regional teams and working from the Vienna office twice a week.
Main responsibilities:
- General ledger postings and IFRS-based accounting
- Participation in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
- Reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Payroll accounting and variance analysis in cooperation with HR
- Intercompany transactions and cooperation with FP&A
- Support statutory closing and reporting activities
- Involvement in internal controls and compliance processes
- Ad-hoc analysis and participation in finance projects
Required skills:
- Valid Slovak work permit·
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience (SSC/multinational preferred)
- Strong IFRS knowledge
- Knowledge of GL SOX controls
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluent English
- This position is based in Bratislava, with the expectation to work from the Vienna office twice a week.
