We’re looking for a confident and forward-thinking General Ledger Team Leader who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys making things better, faster, and smarter.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of 10–15 accountants
- Oversee daily operations, workload planning, and service delivery
- Support process transitions and ensure smooth stabilization
- Drive team performance, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to month-end/year-end closings and review key accounting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (local GAAP & IFRS)
- Manage stakeholder relationships and support KPI/SLAs tracking
Required skills:
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant experience
- Fluent German and English knowledge
- Proven team leadership experience in accounting
- Strong GL knowledge across multiple entities
- Hands-on ERP experience (SAP preferred)
- Process improvement mindset and structured way of working
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
