We are looking for a Junior Compliance Officer to join a Compliance team in Budapest. This is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates or interns who want to start a career in banking compliance and financial security.
Main responsibilities:
- Support compliance activities across AML, KYC, client protection, and market integrity topics
- Assist with AML monitoring, investigations, and compliance enquiries
- Contribute to the prevention and detection of suspicious activities and transactions
- Support the preparation and update of internal policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Assist in monitoring client complaints, incidents, and audit recommendations
- Participate in compliance training and internal committee
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Compliance, or a related field
- Internship or trainee experience in banking or financial services
- Fluent English and Hungarian
- Good command of MS Office tools
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Proactive and organized mindset
