Join a globally operating organization where precision, compliance, and collaboration truly matter. As a German-speaking Travel & Expenses Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant expense processing within our Record-to-Report (R2R) function.

Based in the Budapest Shared Service Center, you will support end-to-end travel and expense accounting activities, contribute to month-end closing, ensure policy and SOX compliance, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and audit teams.

Main responsibilities:

  • Execute month-end closing activities in a timely manner, including the preparation and posting of accruals in SAP and OneStream.
  • Review and analyze monthly financial reports, processing required ad hoc journal entries and responding to reporting requests.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned accounts.
  • Prepare audit documentation (PBC lists) and support external audit processes. 
  • Ensure full compliance with SOX policies and internal control procedures.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in SSC reporting or General Ledger accounting.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and strong analytical skills are considered an advantage.
  • Solid proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong communication skills in English; intermediate level German language skills are also required.
