We are looking for an experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant with strong Italian language skills to support end-to-end accounting activities within a global manufacturing organization. In this role, you will take ownership of complex GL matters, ensure statutory and corporate compliance, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
- Full ownership of end-to-end General Ledger activities, including month-end/year-end closing, reconciliations and reporting
- Ensuring statutory, tax and corporate compliance, while supporting internal and external audits
- Driving process improvements, standardization and automation initiatives, and participating in transitions and system implementations
- Acting as key finance contact for local stakeholders and cross-functional partners
- Managing escalations and supporting continuous improvement across accounting and control processes
Required skills:
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in General Ledger
- Fluent Italian (written and spoken) and strong Business English
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, compliance and internal controls
- Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage
