 Our partner is a stable manufacturing company with an international background and a strong, long-standing presence on the Hungarian market. Due to their dynamic growth, we are currently seeking an experienced IT leader to take on a regional-level role. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Keep IT-dependent business operations up & running, administer IT system landscapes
  • Help drive and implement the agreed global IT strategy
  • Ensure up-to-date standards of the entire IT system (IT HW/SW Lifecycle Management)
  • Implement and monitor IT service management best practices (e.g., ITIL) to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement
  • Establish effective escalation processes in the event of errors
  • Ensuring IT compliance, Data Protection & Information Security  
  • Drive IT documentation: guidelines and documentation of major IT systems 
  • Provision structural and technical know-how to find individual technical solutions in-line with Group strategy and wider directives 
  • Coordination between specialist departments and external IT service providers
  • Measure and enhance user experience through regular feedback and service performance metrics
  • Initiate, lead and support the technical implementation of new IT tools
  • Coordinate activities around change requests (definition, sign-off and testing) 
  • Management of IT plans and projects in the field of digitization - lead and foster change (and demand-) management activities for IT projects, establish quality standards, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and user training
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT operations and projects

Required skills:

  • High level knowledge of current IT systems, infrastructure, auditing and compliance (ISOxxxxx, TISAX, NIS 2 experiences beneficial)
  • General Knowledge of ERP systems and core end-2-end business processes
  • Several years’ experience in the IT sector, ideally in the automotive industry
  • High internal and external customer orientation, cooperation, and excellent team skills
  • Good interpersonal, multi-tasking and organizational skills, structural thinking
  • Ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced, timely and rapidly changing business
  • Open and cooperative mindset
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Trustworthiness, reliability, and initiative
  • Experience with IT customers, showing patience and excellent communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of English (C-1 level minimum)
  • Willingness to travel (once a month)
