
On behalf of our client, a leading global professional services firm, we’re seeking a strategic Payroll Manager to own end-to-end payroll operations, deliver exceptional client experiences, and drive new growth opportunities in a fast-paced, advisory-driven environment.
Main responsibilities:
As a Payroll Manager, you’ll be at the center of our payroll operations, guiding how services are delivered and building lasting relationships with international clients. Your work will directly influence the client experience, the team’s success, and the strategic growth of payroll services.
- Lead end-to-end payroll delivery, continuously improving processes and solutions
- Act as the primary advisor for multinational clients, solving challenges and providing strategic guidance
- Spot and develop new business opportunities to expand service offerings
- Build strong networks, lead client-focused initiatives, and support regional growth
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless, high-quality service delivery
- Manage project profitability, contracts, and compliance with regulations
- Stay ahead of changes in Hungarian payroll, labor, and tax legislation
Required skills:
- 8–10 years of Hungarian payroll experience, ideally in a service provider role
- Payroll certification (OKJ or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with NEXON or similar systems
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills
- Strong MS Office proficiency, especially Excel
- Up-to-date knowledge of social security, income tax, and labor regulations
