Main responsibilities:
- Shape and execute regional sourcing strategies that create measurable business value.
- Strategically select, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure high performance.
- Lead negotiations and secure contracts aligned with long-term goals.
- Drive cost savings and operational efficiencies through targeted initiatives.
- Collaborate across functions (logistics, finance, operations) to keep the supply chain smooth and resilient.
- Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
Required skills:
- 5+ years of proven success in global sourcing and procurement with a strategic mindset.
- Strong experience in category strategy development and direct procurement, ideally in metal categories.
- Deep expertise in supplier relationship management, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Analytical and results-driven, focused on cost optimization and value creation.
- Effective collaborator and influencer across functions in dynamic, international environments.
- Ability to anticipate risks and implement contingency plans to ensure supply continuity.
