As a French-speaking Cash Collector, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, ensuring timely collections, effective dispute resolution, and healthy cash flow within the Budapest Shared Service Center. Your strong language skills will be essential in managing customer relationships across international markets, supporting smooth operations and delivering a high level of customer-focused service within a dynamic finance team. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the transition of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes to Hungary and actively contribute to building the Budapest SSC
  • Manage an Accounts Receivable (AR) portfolio, including customer follow-ups, and root cause analysis of non-payment
  • Negotiate, monitor, and follow up on payment schedules; execute dunning and reminder activities
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate non-payment risks; manage disputes, corrections, and credit notes
  • Maintain customer master data and collaborate closely with Treasury, Collections, and other stakeholders
  • Create and update Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and process documentation; participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, KPIs, and SLAs while delivering high-quality, customer-focused service
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with business partners and key stakeholders

Required skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Cash Collection, Accounts Receivable, or Customer Service
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end O2C processes; experience in process optimization is a strong advantage
  • University degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields; an accounting qualification is a plus
  • Fluent French and strong English skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced with SAP FI and AR/Collections ERP systems
  • Strong interest in supporting the setup and growth of a new SSC
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills with high attention to detail
  • Customer-focused, quality- and continuous improvement–oriented mindset
