A US-based technology company is launching a new shared services center in Budapest to support its EMEA operations and is seeking an experienced EMEA Marketing Director. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the role will lead regional campaigns, manage events, and support sales enablement across EMEA. This is a strategic, hands-on position responsible for driving MQLs, ensuring brand consistency, and accelerating EMEA marketing performance in a growing international environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the EMEA regional marketing strategy aligned with global revenue goals
- Own and execute regional events with full budget and ROI accountability
- Deliver integrated local campaigns to drive demand, brand awareness, and pipeline
- Generate and nurture MQLs in partnership with sales and global demand teams
- Support sales enablement through localized collateral and tools
- Act as the primary marketing partner to EMEA sales leadership
- Localize global programs while maintaining brand consistency
- Track and report on campaign performance and key marketing KPIs
- Manage agencies and ensure compliance with regional regulations (e.g., GDPR)
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 5-7 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in a regional or international role
- Fluency in English and at least intermediate French (written and verbal)
- Proven experience delivering regional marketing programs (events, campaigns, lead generation)
- Strong track record of driving MQLs and supporting revenue growth with sales teams
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to run multiple initiatives
- Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM and marketing automation tools
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel
