We are looking for a dynamic Senior Finance Manager - Accounts Payable to join a growing Shared Service Center, driving process transitions, ERP integrations, and operational excellence across multiple European countries.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and grow a team of 50–60 finance professionals through 6–7 team leaders (second-line management).
- Support the transition of finance processes from several European countries to Hungary.
- Ensure finance processes are integrated into the central ERP system (e.g., SAP) from various local ERPs.
- Manage finance processes in the Service Center and support harmonization and standardization.
- Identify improvement opportunities and support technology-related projects.
- Present future plans and ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to create a positive work environment.
- Work closely with the business and key stakeholders to build strong relationships.
Required skills:
- 5+ years of people management experience and 5+ years in a financial Shared Service Center (SSC).
- Experience managing an AP / AR / GL team of up to 30 FTE.
- College or university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of SAP or other major ERP systems.
- Enthusiasm for building and scaling a new Shared Service Center.
- Strong communication, relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to quality and process improvement.
- Excellent English skills; conversational Italian, Spanish, French, or German is a plus.
