Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of finance operations in Hungary? We are looking for a dynamic Senior Finance Manager - Accounts Payable to join a growing Shared Service Center, driving process transitions, ERP integrations, and operational excellence across multiple European countries. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow a team of 50–60 finance professionals through 6–7 team leaders (second-line management).
  • Support the transition of finance processes from several European countries to Hungary.
  • Ensure finance processes are integrated into the central ERP system (e.g., SAP) from various local ERPs.
  • Manage finance processes in the Service Center and support harmonization and standardization.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and support technology-related projects.
  • Present future plans and ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to create a positive work environment.
  • Work closely with the business and key stakeholders to build strong relationships.



Required skills:

  • 5+ years of people management experience and 5+ years in a financial Shared Service Center (SSC).
  • Experience managing an AP / AR / GL team of up to 30 FTE.
  • College or university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP or other major ERP systems.
  • Enthusiasm for building and scaling a new Shared Service Center.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to quality and process improvement.
  • Excellent English skills; conversational Italian, Spanish, French, or German is a plus.
