
The role of a French-speaking Senior Credit Control Analyst is pivotal in ensuring that financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, which includes overseeing the timely collection of outstanding payments from customers and ensuring that financial records are up to date. The Senior Credit Control Analyst manages key customer payments, maintains strong relationships with major clients and partners in French, and ensures that their payment processes run as seamlessly as possible.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage and control customer trade receivables in line with credit policies and standards
- Monitor credit and fraud risks, ensuring timely escalation to relevant stakeholders
- Oversee customer accounts, direct debit payments, reconciliations, and cash applications
- Resolve customer disputes promptly to secure payments and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Sales and Customer Service
- Identify and act on key or high-risk customer issues with relevant partners
- Support continuous process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all credit management, QMS, and EMS policies
- Prepare and analyze reports to monitor and enhance credit control performance
Required skills:
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience (credit control/collection/other related field)
- Proficiency in English and French
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (SAP preferred); basic accounting and finance knowledge preferred
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and handle complex situations effectively
- Customer-focused mindset combined with sound business judgment
