We are looking for a Transition and Project Manager (Finance) to join our client’s growing Financial Shared Services Center in Budapest.
In this role, you will play a key part in the establishment, development, and transformation of the SSC, ensuring smooth transitions, supporting standardization, and driving digital initiatives across Europe and Africa.

In this role, you will play a key part in the establishment, development, and transformation of the SSC, ensuring smooth transitions, supporting standardization, and driving digital initiatives across Europe and Africa.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the establishment and strategic development of a mid-scale SSC
- Manage transitions from local countries to Budapest, including preparation and stabilization phases
- Support Finance teams in implementing cross-country standard processes
- Actively contribute to digital transformation by introducing new technologies
- Collaborate within the Financial Community in Europe and Africa, working closely with international Finance colleagues
- Support PMO-related tasks such as tracking business cases, reporting program status to key stakeholders, and monitoring transition project plans
- Develop and deliver trainings and workshops across countries, promoting best practice sharing
Required skills:
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–5 years of operational experience in finance business services (hands-on in MDM, P2P, O2C, or R2R)
- At least 2 years of proven experience in managing international transition projects
- Certified in a project management methodology (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Prince2, Agile, Scrum) with practical application experience
- Strong leadership skills: able to lead by example, foster collaboration, and drive transformation toward standardized processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- A team player with flexibility and willingness to travel within Europe
- Professional fluency in English and strong MS Office knowledge (additional German, French, or Spanish language skills are an advantage)
