
Are you an experienced finance professional with a deep understanding of P2P processes and a passion for driving improvement? We're looking for an AP Specialist - SME to take ownership of key finance activities and help us elevate our operations to the next level.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage invoice processing, payment handling, and supplier reconciliations
- Handle vendor master data updates
- Support Travel & Expense (T&E) processing activities
- Analyze complex financial data to provide actionable insights
- Participate in process improvement projects
- Communicate transparently across teams and stakeholders
- Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the P2P process and support transformation projects
- Handle complex issues and escalations from internal teams or vendors
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members
- Deliver trainings and knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the team
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects and support system/process transitions
- Monitor KPIs and support reporting and compliance activities
- Help define and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Required skills:
- Minimum 2-3 year of hands-on experience in P2P processes
- Overall 5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in English and German
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- A team player with a collaborative approach
- Ability to manage expectations and support team needs
- Quick learner with high adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- Clear and transparent communication skills
