
Are you a people-first HR leader with strong business acumen and a hands-on mindset? On behalf of a well-established international manufacturing company, we are seeking a seasoned HR Manager to join their local management team in Pest County.
This is a strategic and operational role, requiring close collaboration with plant leadership and regional HR stakeholders. The selected professional will play a key role in driving employee engagement, process improvement, and organisational development in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Act as a business partner to plant leadership, offering guidance on people matters and organisational design
- Lead local implementation of global and regional HR initiatives
- Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, from onboarding to exit
- Promote a culture of safety, well-being, and accountability at all levels of the organisation
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (incl. payroll, authorities, labour representatives)
- Manage performance and development systems, ensuring succession pipelines
- Support local talent attraction and employer branding in cooperation with corporate HR
- Ensure compliance with labour regulations and company standards
Required skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HR role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of Hungarian labour law and HR compliance practices
- Fluent in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working in a matrixed, international environment
- Proactive, solution-oriented, able to handle both strategic and operational tasks
- Hands-on leadership style with a passion for people and performance
