On behalf of our global client operating in the engineering and technology sector, we are looking for a HR Operations Specialist to support their HR activities related to the Spanish market. The role is part of a regional HR operations hub, servicing multiple European countries. The organization offers a modern, multinational work environment with a strong focus on process excellence and continuous improvement. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Support and guide employees throughout their full employment lifecycle with a focus on Spanish HR processes.
  • Independently handle HR operational tasks such as contract preparation, onboarding/offboarding, organizational changes, certificates, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in internal HR systems and ensure high-quality digital documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Spanish labor law and internal HR policies across all processes.
  • Collaborate closely with payroll, recruitment, HR business partners, and other internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support HR reporting and analytics, preparing regular and ad-hoc reports on key metrics (e.g., KPIs, headcount).
  • Document and communicate process changes clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist with internal audits and compliance checks related to HR operations in Spain.
  • Contribute to knowledge transfer efforts and onboarding of new HR colleagues.
  • Participate in cross-country and cross-functional HR projects as needed.

Required skills:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in HR administration, especially in employee lifecycle support.
  • Proven experience in preparing employment contracts and HR documents in compliance with local labor law.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and process-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Fluent Spanish (spoken and written) and very good English skills are a must.
