Our client is the second largest energy operator in Hungary, specializing in renewable energy production. Market-leading and committed to green, sustainable, and forward-thinking energy solutions, the company is currently looking for a Senior Finance Controller to join their team.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform financial modelling, controlling, and monitoring tasks
- Support annual planning and prepare detailed forecasts and business plans
- Lead regular management reporting and prepare presentations for HQ and stakeholders
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and analyze variances
- Manage expense reporting and provide financial insights
- Assist in annual report preparation and audit coordination
- Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate financial data
Required skills:
- College or university degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning, controlling, and reporting
- Ideally, have experience in energy, real estate, and construction sectors
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage processes and implement improvements
- Proficient in Excel and financial reporting systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
