Our partner company, a leading international provider of corporate and fund administration services, is seeking a Financial Accounting Lead to strengthen its Real Estate Department and drive excellence in financial operations.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of accountants, ensuring high-quality, professional output aligned with international standards
  • Oversee a diverse client portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery
  • Review financial statements and ensure smooth audit processes
  • Prepare management reports and collaborate closely with directors
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and implement action plans to increase efficiency
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key stakeholders across international offices (Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Switzerland)
  • Conduct regular team reviews and stakeholder feedback sessions to identify areas for service enhancement
  • Set KPIs, monitor team performance, and implement continuous improvement strategies
  • Manage resource allocation and workflow planning to optimize team productivity
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and best practices across teams
  • Take full responsibility for team development: training, mentoring, motivating, and supporting career growth

Required skills:

  • University degree in accounting, finance or economics
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in accounting in Big 4 or an international financial service provider is a strong advantage
  • Proven experience leading a team of 3-5 people
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills
  • Valid work permit for Hungary 
  • Strong motivation to work in a quickly growing, dynamic and challenging environment

Advantages:

  • IFRS knowledge would be considered an advantage 
  • Any other language knowledge is a plus
