
We are looking for candidates for our multinational partner who are logical thinkers with a passion for strategy and helping clients solve important problems. Leadership is essential in this role, as is the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines to support the client's objectives.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing advisory services in the field of direct taxation affecting businesses, with a strong focus on industry-specific taxes within the energy sector
- Leading and supervising the work of junior and senior tax consultants, including overseeing the quality and technical accuracy of their deliverables
- Managing multiple client projects simultaneously, coordinating cross-functional teams of junior and senior consultants to ensure timely and effective delivery
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth and development of the team’s service offerings
- Opportunity to participate in sector-specific advisory engagements related to state aid, aligned with both national and EU-level regulatory frameworks, depending on individual areas of interest
- Taking a leadership role in monitoring emerging tax trends and regulatory developments, while supporting clients in managing tax risks and optimizing their tax position
Required skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax-related advisory position
- College or university degree in law or economics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills (in both English and Hungarian), and presentation skills.
- Experience in delegating tasks to junior colleagues.
- Fluent English
