Our client is a multinational company in the FMCG sector, currently significant ERP transformation across multiple countries. To ensure the success of this initiative, they are seeking a skilled communications professional to lead internal communications efforts, particularly focused on engaging employees and supporting organizational change. The role is critical to ensuring that internal stakeholders are informed, involved, and aligned throughout the transformation process, especially as select team members are temporarily reassigned to project roles. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Design and implement communication strategies to support ERP rollout and organizational change
  • Drive internal communication initiatives that foster engagement and clarity during the transition
  • Manage branding and messaging around the transformation program
  • Serve as the go-to advisor for communication-related matters across departments and markets
  • Maintain and improve the internal project platform (e.g., SharePoint or similar), ensuring content is clear, accessible, and regularly updated
  • Collaborate with HR, project leads, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent, effective messaging
  • Create and manage content for internal communications channels (emails, intranet, presentations, etc.)
  • Monitor communication KPIs and provide regular feedback and recommendations
  • Handle communication risks and ensure timely, sensitive handling of issues when they arise
  • Support change management activities in collaboration with learning and adoption teams

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus
  • At least 8 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in an international, multi-country environment
  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills for diverse audiences
  • Experience managing digital channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, social media)
  • Familiarity with ERP or digital transformation projects is a significant advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Strategic thinking, storytelling skills, and the ability to translate complex messages into clear, engaging content
  • Comfortable advising senior leadership and working with external vendors
  • Resilient, proactive, and adaptable in a changing environment
