Our partner is a fast-growing fintech company specializing in streamlining financial operations and digital payments for businesses. With a strong international presence and a focus on scalable growth, they are launching a brand-new Shared Services Center in Budapest.
This is a unique chance to join an agile, forward-thinking fintech organization at an exciting stage of expansion and help build its SSC from the ground up.
Main responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities and manage financial risks
- Analyze sales and overall business performance to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with the Shared Service Center Finance to complete monthly closings and sign off on financial statements
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate monthly management reports
- Maximize operating cash flow through effective working capital management
- Establish, monitor, and enforce financial policies and procedures within the business unit
- Recommend and drive financial performance improvement initiatives across the region
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in close collaboration with the business
- Monitor investment projects, activate fixed assets, and maintain the fixed asset register
- Support and lead statutory compliance efforts, including audits and legal declarations, in coordination with the Head of SSF
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in financial planning, commercial finance, and controlling
- Strong background in business analysis and performance tracking
- Able to work independently and manage tasks without supervision
- Experience in matrix organizations and cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills; able to influence and collaborate at all levels
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Proficient in Power BI
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Experienced in handling and analysing large data sets
- Fluent in English and German; Dutch is a plus
