
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company, recognized as a leader in urban engineering and mobility solutions. They are currently seeking a Spanish-speaking Accounts Payable Team Leader to join their finance team and support the transition of the AP processes. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounts payable and leading a team. Strong English and Spanish skills are required for this role.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of (Senior) Accountants to ensure the accurate delivery of financial services to all clients
- Oversee daily team activities, manage workload distribution, plan staffing needs, and recruit new members based on projected demand
- Actively contribute to the migration of accounting operations from various European branches to Hungary
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to build strong professional relationships
- Take part in daily accounting tasks and contribute to regular financial close activities
- Recognize, analyze, and address operational challenges, including opportunities for workflow enhancement
- Deliver high-quality service to internal and external customers
Required skills:
- Willingness to travel 2-6 weeks to Spain
- Preferred degree in Economics or Finance, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in leading a team
- Proficient in English and Spanish
- Commitment to continuous improvement and quality
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction
