We are looking for candidates for our multinational partner who are logical thinkers with a passion for strategy and helping clients solve important problems. Leadership is essential in this role, as is the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines to support the client's objectives.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing advisory services on direct taxes affecting businesses, focusing on specific taxes relevant to the financial sector.
- Managing the work of junior and senior tax advisor colleagues, overseeing and reviewing their work professionally.
- Managing multiple clients' various projects simultaneously, involving both senior and junior tax advisor colleagues.
- Building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the team’s business activities.
- Opportunity to get involved in advisory tasks related to the restructuring and due diligence of corporate groups.
- Participating in advisory projects covering multiple areas of taxation (such as VAT, personal income tax, transfer pricing, etc.).
- Additionally, taking a leadership role in the latest tax trends and regulations while assisting clients in managing tax risks and optimizing their tax burdens.
Required skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax-related advisory position
- Experience in direct taxation (corporate tax, local business tax) is required.
- College or university degree in law or economics
- Knowledge of IFRS regulations related to the financial sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills (in both English and Hungarian), and presentation skills.
- Experience in delegating tasks to junior colleagues.
- Fluent English
