Main responsibilities:
- Monitor and optimize VPN network performance.
- Research and implement improvements in network security and efficiency.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, and system configurations.
- Provide troubleshooting support and ensure system stability.
- Perform routine backups, updates, and patching.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance network reliability.
Required skills:
- Expertise in VPN networks, general networking, and network security (OpSec).
- Strong Linux knowledge, including systemd, packaging, and security.
- Proactive mindset with a structured approach to documentation.
- Capable of introducing innovative DevOps and infrastructure solutions.
- Experienced in backup strategies and maintaining on-premises services (GitLab, SMTP, Docker registry, etc.).
- Familiarity with Web3, blockchain, and DeFi.
- Cloud experience (GCP and others) is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical teams.
