Main responsibilities:

  • As a Senior QC/QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and supervising all quality-related aspects of our renewable energy projects. With at least 70% of your working time spent on-site, you will be responsible for ensuring technical compliance, safety, and operational excellence across various project locations.
  • Oversee quality assurance and control processes for renewable energy construction projects (e.g., PV plants, wind farms, HV substations, overhead lines).
  • Ensure strict compliance with technical and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and quality assessments at multiple project sites.
  • Work closely with EPC contractors, resolving any quality-related issues efficiently.
  • Supervise testing, commissioning, and quality control procedures to ensure project functionality.
  • Manage project punch lists and ensure seamless documentation handovers.
  • Monitor construction activities on-site, identifying potential quality risks and ensuring prompt corrective actions.
  • Ensure operational assets are maintained efficiently and proactively resolve failures.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for stakeholders.

Required skills:

  • University or college degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar QC/QA role within the construction sector.
  • Previous experience in renewable energy construction (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong expertise in quality assurance and control, especially in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
  • Familiarity with international and local engineering standards.
  • Ability to conduct site visits, perform inspections, and utilize drones for data collection.
  • Valid category B driving license and willingness to travel extensively (at least 70% of the time).
  • Fluent in both English and Hungarian.
  • Proficiency in preparing reports and technical documentation.
