Gastro category manager job-offer, job

We are looking for a Gastro Category Manager to manage a group or category of products.

You will be responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of a product category.

Implementation of the Café shop strategy at stations and introduction of the shop concept at new and newly remodeled gas stations
Inspection of gas stations in terms of compliance with the strategy, operation, costs, hygiene and HACCP procedures according to the manual
Monitors of sales, prepares sales analyses, manages and evaluates market monitoring
Monitors business trends in retail sales - fast food section
Designs, prepares, and implements, together with suppliers, activities to support the sale of fast food in the Hungarian network
Training of Partners in terms of compliance with the strategy, operation of the gastro, hygiene and HACCP procedures
Monitoring competition and transferring information within the project team.
Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory
Responsibility of budget development and revenue for category

3-5 years as category manager or similar role preferably in the retail industry
BSc/BA in business administration, marketing or related field
Ability to travel as required for supplier meetings or industry events and have a B category driving license
Fluent English and Hungarian
Strong analytical, influential and communication skills
Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Excellent communication and people skills
