Main responsibilities:

We are looking for a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to support the full spectrum of pay and benefits processes across the region. In this role, you will:
  • Process payments for holiday, sick leave, maternity, and paternity leave.
  • Convert data from time and attendance systems into payroll inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple countries.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other initiatives.
  • Process and reconcile payroll-related reports, such as payroll summaries, tax filings, and benefits contributions.
  • Manage invoicing and payments related to payroll and benefits, ensuring timely submissions to tax authorities, pension providers, and benefits plans.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, such as benefits and payroll service providers, to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Provide professional and timely support to employees, addressing their payroll and benefits queries while ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, analyzing root causes and implementing solutions for improved processes.
  • Stay up to date with internal changes and industry best practices, sharing knowledge with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.

Required skills:

Qualifications & Experience:
  • 1-3 years of elevant professional experience, preferably in a service-oriented environment, managing payroll in a complex setting.
  • Proficiency in both English, spoken and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and implement creative, collaborative solutions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, capable of handling complexity and engaging with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service at all levels.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively, balancing deadlines and varying levels of complexity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and reporting capabilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to employee support.
  • Approachable and responsive, able to build rapport and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Flexible and resilient, adaptable to an ever-evolving work environment.
