The Application Owner is responsible for overseeing the performance, development, functionality, and customization of the company’s loyalty application. This role ensures the application operates efficiently, engages customers effectively, and aligns with business objectives. This is a new application in Hungary, the role holders responsibility is to make sure the application operates well and according tot he headquorters instructions. This is a position at the marketing department and requires advanced IT affinity.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Loyalty Program Management
  • Oversee the success and effectiveness of the loyalty application as a customer engagement platform.
  • Develop and manage various loyalty programs and promotions tailored to different customer segments.
  • Ensure content within the application is up-to-date and aligned with business goals.
  1. Collaboration & Vendor Management
  • Work closely with external agencies and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of application-related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to enhance the application’s performance and customer engagement.
  1. Performance Analysis & Optimization
  • Analyze and evaluate communication channels based on performance data.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to enhance user experience and application effectiveness.
  • Monitor customer and stakeholder satisfaction, addressing any issues and concerns proactively.
  1. Budget & Resource Management
  • Manage and control the budget allocated for rewards and promotions.
  • Ensure cost-effective use of resources while maximizing application impact.
  1. Application Development & Testing
  • Manage necessary changes and updates to the loyalty application.
  • Conduct thorough testing of new versions to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Integrate retention strategies to expand and activate the customer base.
  1. Campaign & Event Management
  • Set up promotional events in the application console and monitor their execution.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align application features with campaigns.
  • Plan and execute campaigns to attract new users, including third-party collaborations and contract management.
  1. International Cooperation & Stakeholder Communication
  • Support international collaboration to enhance the company’s reputation.
  • Share updates on planned events with international teams to unify key sponsorship activities.
  • Prepare presentations for stakeholders on application features, updates, and future plans.
  1. Administrative & Reporting Duties
  • Manage documentation, reporting, and issue tracking related to application support.
  • Ensure smooth operation and compliance with company policies.


Required skills:

  • Higher education (Bachelor’s degree or above)
  • Experience in a similar role 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Fluency in English
