Our client is a well-established manufacturing company, recognized as a leader in urban engineering and mobility solutions. They are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team and support the ongoing improvement of AP processes. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounts payable and a proactive approach to process enhancement.
Main responsibilities:
- Be involved in the transition of accounting processes from European entities to Hungary and actively contribute to shaping a new Shared Service Center (SCE) in Budapest.
- Participate in day-to-day operations including document receipt handling, invoice verification and processing, outgoing payment processing, reclaims and corrections, AP closing and periodic activities.
- Adhere to agreed service levels, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve issues effectively.
- Drive and implement process improvements where necessary.
- Collaborate actively with the business and relevant stakeholders.
- Provide high-quality customer service at all times.
- Ensure all process manuals and relevant work instructions are created and regularly updated.
Required skills:
- College or University degree
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting
- Strong English and French language skills
- SAP knowledge
- Ability/willingness to travel
