We are seeking candidates for a leading professional services firm who demonstrate strong logical thinking, a passion for strategy, and a dedication to helping clients tackle complex challenges.  Success in this role requires excellent teamwork, along with the flexibility to adapt to shifting requirements or deadlines in order to support our clients’ objectives. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Handle complex accounting projects for clients operating in various industries (GAAP conversation projects; accounting system implementation projects ext.)
  • Collaborate with the Managers and the Partner, support the planning, execution and delivery of the clients' engagements
  • Contribute actively in the team to understand and respond to the client's needs and expectations and develop a client-focused, clear, accurate and well-presented work product
  • Work with other service lines and subject matter experts in providing an integrated service delivery across functions in an international team to meet the client's high expectations
  • Identify and communicate relevant trends, developments and key performance drivers relevant to the client and its industry

Required skills:

  • University degree with a specialization in accounting, finance or a related field
  • Ideally 2-4 years of experience in audit, consultancy, and accounting services (big4 experience is preferred)
  • Knowledge of business and economic trends and policy issues, emerging technical and industry developments
  • Involvement in accounting areas - such as transaction accounting GAAP conversions and accounting change implementation
  • Analytical mindset and an interest in strong technical accounting skills in IFRS
  •  Proactive, flexible and team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
