We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Controller to join our client's finance team. In this role, you will take ownership of key controlling activities, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, month-end and year-end closing, and management reporting. You will work closely with various departments and senior management, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and improve company performance.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities related to controlling.
- Prepare regular financial reports and analyse business results.
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor costs, budgets, and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare financial analyses to support management decisions.
- Maintain controlling-related data and processes in SAP.
- Ensure accurate cost allocations and financial records.
- Work with internal departments and support audit activities.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and reporting systems.
- Participate in local and international projects.
Required skills:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in controlling, financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of month-end and year-end closing processes, accruals, and financial analysis.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost management.
- Advanced SAP knowledge, particularly SAP CO, is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, independent, and structured approach to work, with a strong focus on accuracy and deadlines.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
