Main responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of statutory financial statements under Dutch and Belgian GAAP
- IFRS-to-local-GAAP reconciliations and statutory adjustments
- Support of external audits and regulatory reporting, including DNB/NBB
- Statutory accounting transactions and annual accounts preparation
- Month-, quarter- and year-end closing activities
- Technical accounting support on local GAAP matters
- SAP-based accounting and financial reconciliations
- Support of accounting, reporting and control processes across teams and geographies
- Driving process standardization, simplification and continuous improvement
Required skills:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; relevant accounting qualification is a plus
- Relevant experience in finance and accounting
- Good knowledge of IFRS and preferably Dutch or Belgian GAAP
- Fluent English and strong Dutch language skills
- End-to-end experience with statutory and/or group close and transactional accounting
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Ability to provide GAAP accounting support and advice
- Experience with statutory accounts, reporting and audit processes
- Strong process expertise, with a focus on quality, controls and continuous improvement
