Our international client is looking for a Senior Transfer Pricing Specialist to join its Budapest-based team. This is a hands-on senior position with exposure to financial analysis, pricing, treasury, valuations, documentation and audit-related projects.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the collection and analysis of financial data required for transfer pricing analyses and documentation across different jurisdictions
- Prepare functional and financial analyses, including comparable searches and benchmarking
- Support EMEA Treasury activities, including pricing of financial instruments, credit ratings and benchmarking
- Support valuations of legal entities and/or assets where required
- Manage relationships and deliverables with other internal functions
- Support the implementation and maintenance of intercompany transactions
- Lead and support EMEA transfer pricing audit-related projects
- Coordinate projects and deliverables with external advisors and service providers
- Work on ad-hoc financial and transfer pricing projects according to business needs
- Present findings and communicate with stakeholders across different functions and regions
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Tax or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing or a closely related area
- Hands-on experience with financial analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of transfer pricing principles and relevant tax legislation
- Good understanding of accounting and financial transactions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence presenting your work and communicating with management-level stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders
