
We are looking for an experienced Director of Tax & Regulatory Reporting, EMEA to build and lead a centralised function across a growing international organisation. This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for tax compliance, statutory reporting and regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with senior Finance leadership and external advisors, while playing a key role in managing tax risk, supporting M&A activity and driving process improvement.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST and withholding tax.
- Own tax provisioning, effective tax rate calculations, transfer pricing compliance and cash-tax forecasting.
- Coordinate statutory accounts, regulatory filings and reporting requirements across EMEA.
- Establish consistent governance, controls and processes for tax and regulatory compliance.
- Support tax and regulatory integration of newly acquired entities.
- Manage relationships with tax authorities, auditors and external advisors.
- Provide tax and regulatory guidance to Finance and the wider business, including support for cross-border transactions and new entities.
- Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Controlling and Finance leadership on forecasts, budgets and business cases.
- Drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement across tax and regulatory reporting.
- Build and develop the centralised EMEA Tax & Regulatory Reporting function.
Required skills:
- Professional accounting or tax qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA or equivalent).
- 10+ years of experience in tax and/or statutory reporting, ideally within a multinational organisation or Big Four environment.
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax, VAT/indirect tax and statutory reporting.
- Multi-jurisdictional experience and knowledge of transfer pricing and cross-border taxation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP.
- Experience working with ERP systems, large data sets and reporting tools.
- Experience building, centralising or transforming tax/reporting processes is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
