Our partner is an international company with a presence across multiple markets, currently looking for an experienced professional to support and further develop its EMEA payroll and benefits operations. 

Main responsibilities:

  • Analyse existing payroll and benefits setups across EMEA and identify opportunities for harmonisation, centralisation and cost optimisation
  • Develop business cases and recommendations for senior HR and Finance stakeholders
  • Lead the implementation of payroll and benefits solutions across multiple countries
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, controls and timely delivery
  • Manage relationships with external payroll and benefits providers and coordinate key stakeholders
  • Drive the standardisation and consolidation of payroll providers, processes, systems, data and governance
  • Partner with Finance on payroll accounting, reconciliations, accruals, payments and reporting
  • Lead payroll transformation projects, including provider selection, system implementations, automation and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with local payroll, tax, social security, pension and benefits requirements
  • Proactively identify issues and opportunities and continuously improve the overall EMEA payroll framework

Required skills:

  • 6–8 years of experience in payroll, payroll operations, HR operations or Compensation & Benefits
  • Hands-on knowledge of multi-country payroll within EMEA and experience working with external payroll partners
  • Proven experience in payroll harmonisation, centralisation, transformation or provider consolidation
  • Experience taking ownership of regional projects and coordinating implementation across different countries
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior-level colleagues
  • A structured, analytical approach and a genuine interest in finding more efficient and cost-effective ways of working
  • A proactive personality with the ability to take an initiative from identifying a need through to delivering the solution
  • Fluent English is essential
