Our partner is a dynamic and growing Shared Service Center (SSC) providing high-quality financial support across multiple regions. As part of their continued expansion, they are strengthening their AR function and are looking for a French-speaking Cash Collector. In this role, you will be responsible for effective collections, managing customer accounts and payment issues, supporting dispute resolution, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
- Proactive client follow-up within the AR portfolio and root cause analysis of non-payment
- Negotiation and monitoring of payment plans
- Management of dunning activities and payment reminders
- Identification and mitigation of non-payment risks
- Dispute management, including corrections, cancellations and credit note issuance
- Validation of customer accounts and data
- Close collaboration with Treasury, Collections and business stakeholders
- Participation in projects and process optimization initiatives
- Providing high-quality customer service and building strong stakeholder relationships
Required skills:
- 2+ years of experience in Cash Collection or Customer Service
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end O2C process
- University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Accounting or Business
- Fluent French and good English language skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
- User-level knowledge of SAP FI and Collection ERP systems
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to building a new Shared Service Center
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
- Strong team player with the ability to build and motivate a team
- Excellent attention to detail and prioritization skills
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Continuous improvement and quality-focused mindset
