We are looking for an experienced Accounting & Controlling professional to join the finance team of a stable, international company. This is a broad finance role combining strong accounting and reporting responsibilities with controlling, planning and financial analysis.
Main responsibilities:
- Support month-end closing, financial reporting and consolidation activities
- Prepare and review financial data in line with IFRS and group requirements
- Perform P&L and balance sheet analysis, including variance analysis
- Support the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Prepare regular management reports and financial analyses
- Analyze cost and revenue drivers and highlight key variances and trends
- Support business stakeholders with financial insights and performance analysis
- Assist with audits, internal controls and compliance activities
- Contribute to process improvement and finance transformation projects
- Work closely with Finance and business teams across different entities and locations
Required skills:
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, financial reporting or a combination of these areas
- Strong accounting knowledge and solid understanding of financial statements
- Good knowledge of IFRS; experience with group reporting or consolidation is an advantage
- Experience with controlling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident Excel skills and experience with ERP/financial systems
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
