We are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team within an international business environment. This role offers the opportunity to combine people leadership with operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop the AP/AR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
- Oversee daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, ensuring accurate and timely service delivery
- Provide guidance on end-to-end AP/AR processes, including invoice processing, reconciliations, payments, collections and issue resolution
- Plan team capacity, monitor performance and support recruitment, onboarding and employee development
- Drive process improvements, standardization and automation initiatives while ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support the successful transition of finance processes
Required skills:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Several years of experience in accounting, including solid exposure to Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
- Previous experience leading and developing a finance team
- Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Fluent English and confident Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage
