Join the leadership team of a brand-new Shared Service Center in Budapest!
We are building a new Shared Service Center in Budapest to support the EMEA region of a global manufacturing company. This is a unique opportunity to join at the very beginning and play a key role in shaping processes, building teams, and establishing best practices from day one.
We are looking for an experienced RTR Process Owner / Tower Lead who will not only own the Record-to-Report process but also lead the RTR organization, driving operational excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement across multiple countries.
Main responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end Record-to-Report process across the EMEA region.
- Lead the RTR Tower, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence.
- Define and implement global RTR standards, governance, policies, and controls.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and automation projects to enhance efficiency and control.
- Establish KPIs, governance routines, and performance management frameworks.
- Build, develop, coach, and inspire a high-performing RTR team.
Required skills:
- Previous experience as an RTR Process Owner, Global Process Owner, or similar leadership role.
- People management experience is a must.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or in related field
- Proven track record in driving process standardization, automation, and transformation initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels.
- Strong can-do attitude and continuous improvement mindset
