
Our partner is a dynamic and growing Shared Service Center (SSC) delivering high-quality financial and operational support across multiple regions. As part of their continued expansion, they are strengthening their AP function and are looking for a German-speaking AP Accountant. In this role, you will play a key part in managing end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, supporting process improvements, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage daily AP operations including master data, invoice processing, payments, corrections, and closing activities
- Verify and process invoices in line with internal policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with agreed service levels and operational guidelines
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues efficiently
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and maintain professional supplier relationships
- Provide high-quality customer and supplier support
- Maintain and regularly update process documentation and work instructions
Required skills:
- 2+ years of accounting experience, primarily in Accounts Payable
- Strong English skills and intermediate German are required
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Continuous improvement & quality mindset with strong customer focus
- Independent, proactive, and detail-oriented working style
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enthusiastic about building and supporting a new Shared Service Center
