Main responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with applicable customs and export control regulations across assigned locations
- Maintain and follow up on customs-related licenses and documentation
- Prepare and update working instructions for external logistics providers and subcontractors
- Monitor legal and regulatory changes and ensure timely internal implementation
- Collaborate with IT teams to support system improvements related to customs processes
- Provide expert support to procurement and supply chain teams on customs-related issues
- Manage preferential origin processes, including calculations and documentation
- Troubleshoot customs and logistics issues (e.g. blocked shipments, import/export delays)
- Perform Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screenings in relevant systems
- Act as backup for other customs team members and support daily operational requests
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Customs certification or relevant post-graduate qualification
- 2-3 years of experience in customs, supply chain, or procurement
- Strong knowledge of SAP and basic VAT principles
- Solid understanding of customs and export control regulations
- Fluent English
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment
- High level of integrity and customer-oriented mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver results
