On behalf of our client, a leading global professional services firm, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager & Client Partner to take ownership of end-to-end payroll delivery while acting as a trusted advisor to international clients.
Main responsibilities:
As a Payroll Manager & Client Partner, you will play a key role in shaping payroll services, strengthening client relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow and evolve the offering. Your impact will be felt across client experience, team performance, and business development.
- Own and lead end-to-end payroll delivery, continuously improving processes and service quality
- Act as the primary client partner and strategic advisor for multinational clients
- Build long-term, trust-based client relationships and represent payroll as a value-adding advisory service
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand payroll and related services
- Lead client-focused initiatives and contribute to regional growth objectives
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless, high-quality service delivery
- Manage project profitability, contracts, and ensure full regulatory compliance
- Stay up to date with changes in Hungarian payroll, labor, tax, and social security legislation
Required skills:
- 8–10 years of experience in Hungarian payroll, ideally within a service provider or advisory environment
- Payroll certification (OKJ or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with NEXON or similar payroll systems
- Fluent English with strong client-facing communication skills
- Confident MS Office user, especially Excel
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Hungarian labor law, social security, and income tax regulations
