Main responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate transport activities based on customer demand and shipment schedules.
- Maintain daily communication with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Track shipments, manage transport documentation, and process invoices in line with agreed rates.
- Monitor key performance metrics including delivery punctuality, load utilization, costs, and service feedback.
- Collaborate with suppliers on capacity, pricing, and operational improvements.
- Identify opportunities to optimize transport efficiency, maximize truck loads, and reduce environmental impact.
- Contribute to process improvements and digital initiatives in transport operations.
Required skills:
- 5+ years of experience in transport or logistics management.
- Knowledge of export/import flows and international shipping practices.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using ERP systems and logistics platforms; Excel proficiency required.
- Fluency in English, adaptable, resilient, and customer-focused attitude.
