We are looking for a Cost Controller - French Speaking to join a leading international manufacturing company, supporting cost controlling, variance analysis, and month-end closing in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy and availability of financial data for decision-making (product costs, fixed costs, project costs, allocations, etc.)
- Analyze product cost estimates (quantities and unit costs) and adjust activity type prices to maintain correct standard costs
- Perform variance analysis between standard and actual costs and initiate corrective actions with Production and Finance teams
- Execute month-end closing steps within the Controlling area (process/work order settlements, FIFO valuation, internal sales postings, cost center assessments)
- Support continuous improvement of controlling and reporting processes
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting
- 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role
- Up-to-date knowledge of accounting rules
- Fluent in English and French (reading, writing, speaking)
- Independent, goal-oriented, and structured work style
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Strong Excel skills
